bryan kindel An absolutely beautiful and amazing piece of art, this recording. Words fail to do it justice. Favorite track: In The Prvacy Of Your Own Bones.

Entleiber Compositions into the beyonds. Avantgarde so adventurous and intense you will regret not having heard of this band any sooner. Vocals on point - emotional, but never overdone, dramatic, but never artificial. Their lyrics are inventive and enigmatic scenes painted with the deepest understanding of language and its secrets. The atmosphere sublime and all-encompassing. I love this album to the core and it's been a favourite of mine for many years now, never stops being exciting. Favorite track: A Sutra Of Wounds.

PeterBlanko I know this record in and out. I can sing every song along. I get goosebumps every time, sometimes I cry. It deeply resonates with me.

What would it take to smother these crones? From scratch starts the sloping off To a wilderness Undertow colossal leads me like lead Past life trespassers Sold strange to my soiled my eyes Underwater rain parade I can’t collide! Oh Lord… What would it take to smother these crones? Let’s get skeletal Necro-spiritual There’s murder in the cronehouse tonight Their skullharp scriptures Catholic boyschool We’ll smother the bones of our past tonight Let’s get skeletal Necro-spiritual!! Skulls grin from passing cars Through the traffic of the dead They laugh me up their ancient sleeves Into the borderless beyond Wayside pastors gracing black pastures “I’m boarding sinking ships”* Against the tide of fleeing rats Oh please God smother these crones Let’s get skeletal Necro-spiritual There’s murder in the cronehouse tonight Their skullharp scriptures Catholic boyschool We’ll smother the bones of our past tonight Let’s get skeletal Necro-spiritual!! RIP Jesuit mindfuck MCMXC *Jonas Raskolnikov, 2008

I am bone and I am silence I am a tongue without a word I am dust and I am violence I am never heard For I am the ghost of should have been I am the ghost of almost near I am the ghost of never know I am never seen Take my face in place of yours And through your eyes I shine Kiss your child goodnight and say These lips aren’t really mine Oh these lips aren’t really mine I am bone and I am silence I am a tongue without a word I am dust and I am violence I am never heard For I am the ghost of should have been I am the ghost of almost near I am the ghost of never know I am never seen Take my face in place of yours And through your eyes I shine Kiss your child goodnight and say These lips aren’t really mine Oh these lips aren’t really mine And should I die Bring my shadow to me Roll it up and swallow it Withdraw my touch from all your hands Recede and remain A memory of absence Through which a null wind unfurls To disorder your world And I shall breath in all my words My fingers return to bone and curl

On a mattress of salt On a sea of wounds And only my arms for oars White-knuckle dream ride Cling on for dear life Fare thee well my black-hole bride My mirage cocoon of horses sail into the sky It’s so strange What life looks like When you’re falling Falling Falling through the cracks Is there anyone there On the other side? Do they know who you are? Can they bring you back? And in my deepest darkest dreams The rattle of black teeth is growing and growing In the heart of my brain There’s something coming And it will never leave you behind It’s pulling you and tugging you Til the light goes out in your eyes When fate hangs you out You out to dry When you’re finally coming apart Then you’ll start to know why And in my deepest darkest dreams The rattle of black teeth is growing and growing In the heart of my brain On a mattress of salt On a sea of wounds And only my arms for oars White-knuckle dream ride Cling on for dear life Fare thee well my black-hole bride

The statues are tilted In priest-like poses They’re moving their arms In rhythmical dreams Possession is the medicine For the tainted blurred within Lined up on pedestals In pestilent postures Possession is the medicine For the tainted words whim Imprisoned in spine Tending lights in the tunnels Speaking in tongues Shining in spasms The invisible presence And his toxic torrents The clocks have all slowed To the sound of howling throats Acrid fumes on the horned horizon Altars stained with blood Cutting off thrones to spite the face All phantoms underground Walk with me now Possession is the medicine! Memorial wolds of fanaticism Medicate the worship within Nefarious roads of old omens The overpowering will Disturbance in the root of the self A loose thread reveals In too deep to turn back now Just a spoonful of hate Helps the medicine go down! Possession is the medicine!

Jesus Fever 03:43
Is this all, the dark circled Cracks and the crested eyes Our deliverance, our deity cries Watch me, watch me arise This is the emergence of youth! I have to break the face Lift the effervescence and align the sky Break the rocks and empathy deny This is the emergence of youth! Caught locked and brutalised Thrown down you are the body, I am the mind You deserve only suffering I am divine Here I am truly Scythian, alive I evolve the world My destruction belies The buds of genesis, the fruit, the wine I break the gables, the column, the vine I am laughing in the temple of youth! Jesus fever Grievous Diva Mischievous Shiva Jesus fever

Parlour magician Saw me in half Pull me from your hat Break my body, break my back Drag me through wives, lawns and suburbs You the great destroyer of my childhood Like a ship that was lost in a storm I will lie in my grave and stretch out my arms I will lay this body down I will lay this body down When the evening of judgement has come When all the stars in the sky come undone I will lay this body down I will lay this body down On the miry road I hold your light That bursts the banks Of the rivers of my limbs Brain set on fire In a flavour of the celluloid You’re my odyssey, my glory My last chance at reality

There’s something in here Choked, pleading, turning on a tornique Leather bound witches skin dolls sway Long lithe naked faceless bodies slide And the pain Is sensational And in the dark Your succubus Is gibbering And hungry Scream your elegy to me I’ll christen you with scars Follow me beyond The measure of fatigue Scream your elegy to me And I’ll christen you with scars I’ll break you on the shores of fatigue Close tight and caged Tumbling, cascading Arms and mouth restrained Numb limbs a nimbus of pain And the heat Is sensational And as you fall Almond eyes turn And the heat Is sensational And within you fall The distance Is vertiginous And hungry Scream your elegy to me I’ll christen you with scars Follow me beyond The measure of fatigue Scream your elegy to me And I’ll christen you with scars I’ll break you on the shores of fatigue Irradiant fires I desire oblivion Across our eyes is enscribed Dominion And will these wonders end Irradiant fires I desire oblivion Across our eyes is enscribed Dominion And this wind hastens night And in the night On the borders of fatigue Here flesh is a language and through It you speak On succulent blades You are crippled and maimed Walk with me On the landscape of pain Chain yourself to desire And I’ll christen us with scars
8.
I am bloodless and cry My vessel breaks releasing Ire My shoulders raise and break The cradle of the sky The stars are falling I am awake and should play This is the end of days The end of days The end of days My eyes split horizons The elipsis my maw This is a call to war This is a call to war A call to waaaaaaar My shoulders raise and break The cradle of the sky The stars cascade My hands shred moonlight My voice the joy of the sea Searing you all with sound With souuuuund I grab the earth and shake The dead from the ground I bask in light And infinite vision I am joy and destructions Violent collision

about

Code UK

Fundamentally thoughtful and intrepid CODE have been burning their own low path since the 2002 inception (London, England). Through the brittle avant-garde of Nouveau Gloaming (2005), the Spellemann-nominated Resplendent Grotesque (2009), the mad theatre of Augur Nox (2013) and the bleak, anaesthetic wash of MUT (2015) CODE has carved-out a stark new shape in modern music. ... more
